Independent Living: Thriving at home with disabilities

In today’s episode of The Real State, we explore the intersection between independent living for people with disabilities and the communities in which they reside. Today’s guest is Dan Shorter, CEO at the Coalition for independent living, a private non-profit client directed civil rights organization for children and adults with disabilities based in Palm Beach County Florida. The Coalition for independent living’s goal is to promote independence for people with disabilities and has been active since 1989.
