India Hicks has created an esteemed and diverse career as a model, designer, author, marathon runner, entrepreneur, style icon, mother of five and TV show host. Oh, and did we mention that she’s also an heir to the British throne? India’s father was world-famous interior decorator David Hicks, and her grandfather was the last Viceroy of India (hence her namesake). She was a bridesmaid at Princess Diana’s wedding, and her Godfather is no less than Charles, The Prince of Wales. From her remote home in the Bahamas, India has published three books including Island Life, Island Beauty and Island Style, which recently made The New York Times Best Sellers list.. India has now launched a new business whose mission is to give women the tools to run their own business, from their own home, on their own terms.. 30A Radio sat down with India to learn more about her fascinating life story.
