You're the warm spot — hitting 70 degrees — but thunderstorms are rolling through with heavy rain likely. Northern Indiana splits the difference at 51 degrees. Tonight, fog develops statewide. Mostly cloudy skies hold. Lows range from the low 40s northeast to around 60 southwest. Friday turns unseasonably warm. Central Indiana climbs to 76 degrees with morning rain and thunderstorms wrapping up before 7 A.M. Northeast Indiana hits 71 after fog lifts by 9 A.M. Southwest Indiana reaches 78 — the warmest spot — with mostly sunny skies breaking through. Northern Indiana tops out at 70 degrees. We could challenge daily records for March 6th. Saturday brings widespread rain and thunderstorms — heavy at times — on already saturated ground. Flooding is a serious concern across central and southern Indiana.
