Indianapolis Youth Homelessness

from No Limits · host WFYI 90.1 FM

Homelessness experts believe thousands of young people in the Indianapolis metro area have no real homes, but how many thousands? The Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention is focusing on youth as a priority population when it starts its Summer Youth Count in just a few days. Along with the count, CHIP will be holding several events geared to connect with homeless young people, from art to stand-up comedy. Our guests are Alan Witchey, executive director, CHIP; Myranda Warden, director of programs and training, Indiana Youth Group (IYG); and Eric Howard, Founder and CEO of Outreach.
