I made an episode just recently about seeing patterns to determine one's emotions. So, for example, I do some things when I'm feeling a certain way. And I know this is something pretty interesting today. I was doing math homework for using the Pomodoro technique, which is I do 20 minutes of work, then four minutes breaks, and after four 20 minute work sessions I do 30 minutes of break.
And I did math, and then I started playing Rocket League, and I was killing it. I was doing better than I have in a long time, and I wondered why, and I think it's because I didn't have the burden of knowing I was procrastinating, because I wasn't procrastinating. It was a 30 minutes of reward for working well. And I noticed that when I procrastinate my skills in that game just decreased drastically.
When I played it, it didn't feel like today, it didn't feel like I was playing at my level, even though the wrangler that I have I've had for a couple weeks now. It didn't feel like I was just scoring goal after goal, probably 80% of the goals that my team scored in total were for me. So I just feel like that's a good indicator for me, for example, of am I doing this right? Yeah, I could just find something where you clearly are a certain way when you do things right with it, and another when you don't do it right with it.
So for me it's procrastination. If I procrastinate, I'm not very good at Rocket League. If I don't procrastinate, I become a lot better without doing anything. Alright, thank you for listening.
Thank you for listening and have a great day.
