Her artist name—meaning "the doll" in Spanish—was inspired by a term of endearment from her sister and reflects the personal nature of her music. Starting her creative journey in 2019 with poetry and lyrics, she briefly stepped away to work as a medical assistant before returning to music with a passion for storytelling and emotional depth. Inspired by artists like Beach House and OhGeesy, her style is dreamy, raw, and reflective.
