Indigenous Congress for Decolonization: El Salvador Debrief

from The Red Nation Podcast

In January 2023, TRN sent a delegation to El Salvador for the Indigenous Congress for Decolonization, which seeks to unite leaders, thinkers, Indigenous intellectuals, land defenders, and members of the Central American diaspora in a single voice in search of a new horizon to create a "pact that leads to Indigenous autonomy." This bilingual conversation, hosted by TRN comrade Justine Teba and titled "The State of Indigenous Peoples under the 'State of Emergency' in El Salvador," took place in April 2023 with a group of activists who were also part of the Congress. Participants: Demetrius Johnson, Daniel Flores, Zar Castillo, Luis Lopez,    Live interpretation provided by Samantha.
