On today's episode, Jessica interviews Dr. Clint Carroll, Associate Professor of Native American and Indigenous Studies in the Department of Ethnic Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder and ᏣᎳᎩᎯ ᎠᏰᎵ ᎡᎲᎢ (Cherokee Nation Citizen). Jessica and Clint discuss his interdisciplinary community based work with the Cherokee Nation. He describes how the history of colonialism has challenged Cherokee relationships with the land, but also how the Cherokee Nation has sustained or reformed relationships to the land despite that painful legacy.
