Indigenous Heritage Month

from teenage tea with the BMYC Hosted by BMYC Creative

Welcome to the second Teenage Tea with BMYC podcast of the 2021-2022 year. Historically, the Indigenous Peoples of Canada have been oppressed by the Canadian government. We often forget the trauma and discrimination that the Indigenous peoples of Canada have faced and continue to face even today. In this podcast we discuss some of the new changes in the Peel curriculum to educate youth on Indigenous issues, history, and culture. Make sure to stick to the end of the episode and stay tuned for this year's events and podcasts on our instagram (@bmyc4diversity) and website (bmyc.ca).
