Shawn "The Still Small Voice" Hey Everybody,  What is the Still Small Voice?  The Revealing Word describes it as, “The Voice of Spirit speaking within the depths of one’s being.  The ‘still small voice’ is not an audible voice.  It comes from within as spiritual knowing.”   I have the Voice that speaks to me and through me and the more that I pay attention to it, the better I hear it.  The “voice” never guides me to hurt myself or someone else.  It never scolds me or shames me.  It doesn’t tell me I’m stupid or foolish.  This is not the voice of my abusers.  It is the Voice of Spirit and it loves me.  The Voice I hear doesn’t pull punches.  It just tells me what I need to know.  Sometimes I hear it through intuition and instinct.  Sometimes I hear words in my head.  Other times I’m just inspired to go this way rather than that way.  I find when I am steadily listening, I just do things differently and more wisely than I would if I weren’t listening.  Sometimes I make new choices six hours later than when I sought the Voice. One thing that is important is that we seek to hear the Voice rather than telling the Voice to listen to us.  The Voice doesn’t need to be told our concerns or problems.  We need to hear the Voice speak to us of eternal love and wisdom.  As we come to the realization that we are loved we won’t be nearly concerned about the world.  We will KNOW what to think of everything.
