Inevitable? Thane Rosenbaum Says Think Again

🇺🇸 Rob decides the DSA has picked possibly the worst anniversary calendar imaginable for its political rise:America is celebrating its 250th birthday while the country prepares to mark 25 years since 9/11. His basic invitation policy for anyone who isn’t proud of America: feel free to skip the party. 🚔 A DSA leader who wants alternatives to police and incarceration runs straight into the dreaded follow-up question: what happens when someone commits a violent crime? When asked who investigates an assault and where the perpetrator goes without police or jail, she tries to move away from the hypothetical—and Rob pounces. ☎️ NEWSMAX HOTLINE — Thane Rosenbaum joins Rob for a fiery discussion of October 7, the DSA and 9/11 rhetoric. The law professor and author forcefully rejects a DSA co-chair’s characterization of the October 7 attack as “largely inevitable,” discusses Gaza and Hamas, and argues that today’s far left is increasingly willing to associate openly with rhetoric that politicians once considered disqualifying. Rob supplies the optimism about defeating the movement politically; Rosenbaum plays the considerably more skeptical sidecar.
