This is a result of choosing to embrace the unknown and choose to live. At 15 during a suicide attempt, two words spoke loudly in my mind, “Stop. Leave.” I chose to listen and ran away for the 3rd time since the age of 13. Determined to break the chain I felt was trying to hold me captive as it did so many of my family members.
