Infidelity: Stay, Leave, Or Depends?

In Western society, early MONOGAMY laws only applied to women, until the women's movement forced it to apply to men.  In those times men were expected to cheat and women would often stay.  However, today one psychologist suggests that women CHEAT more than men. Is CHEATING a deal breaker for you and if so why? Are there circumstances in which you would forgive your spouse?  What if there are children, and does their age factor into your decision?  Some people forgive repeat CHEATERS, why and what does that say about that person?  Can you cheat if you're single?
