Dr Susan Connor MBBS (Hons1 UNSW) B Med Sci FRACP PhD Liverpool Hospital, University of NSW and Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research Susie Connor is senior consultant gastroenterologist at Liverpool Hospital where she established and heads the IBD service. She graduated from medicine at University of New South Wales in 1991 and completed her postgraduate training at Prince of Wales and Concord Hospitals. She completed her PhD on mucosal immunology in IBD at University of NSW in 2005 and received a postgraduate NHMRC fellowship. Susie is currently on the executive of Australian IBD Association and on the Australian faculty for Cornerstones Health. She was recently awarded the South Western Sydney mid career research grant. Susie is a regular reviewer for number of medical journals, speaks regularly at medical conferences and has several current and ongoing research projects.
