He Will Finish What He Started

It is good for us at times to turn our focus from the circumstances of life to the promises of God. Paul gives us one of those promises in Philippians 1 when he says that he is sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Christ Jesus. While he is speaking to the Philippians this promise is for us as well. What was the basis of Paul's confidence? What is the good work that had been begun in the Philippians?
