Influencing Our Children For Good: The Heart Behind His New Show, ‘The Adventures of Iggy & Mr. Kirk’ with Renowned American Actor, Evangelist, and Author, Kirk Cameron, Ep. 224

Today’s guest, Kirk Cameron, isn't trying to win a cultural war with loud slogans or viral outrage. Instead, the renowned actor, evangelist, author, and outspoken Christian is offering something quieter, but arguably more radical in today’s climate: a children’s television show filled with puppets, songs, and Bible-based lessons on identity, forgiveness, and courage. In today’s episode, Kirk will be diving into the heart and mission behind his newly released, “Iggy and Mr. Kirk”  children’s television show, a live-action series featuring a cast of whimsical characters and stories aimed squarely at families hungry for “safe, meaningful screen time.” The inspiration for this show really came from the cry of parents wanting something that they can put their kids down in front of for 10 minutes or 20 minutes that’s not going to assault them, or even worse, pollute their minds with wrong ideas about God, their gender, or sexuality. Instead, this counter-cultural show is geared toward actually entertaining kids and igniting their imagination while building their character and encouraging family relationships.
