Information blocking is all about the data – access to, exchange of, and use of electronic health information (EHI) – regardless of what technology is used. The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) published a Final Rule in May 202, in the 21st Century Cures Act that sets requirements related to Information Blocking.
