Infrastructure in the US- how does your area rate? What is being done...

So much is going on these days, hustle, bustle, social networking, the Presidential election here in the US, it is easy to press on and not see so much around us... how does our infrastructure rate....our highways, bridges, railways, ports, inland waterways. Some 100+ years old. Who is responsible? With our enormous debt well into the trillions, where is the money going to come from?
