Als Formule 1-kijker wil je natuurlijk niets liever zien dan verhitte duels die op de baan worden uitgevochten. Gelukkig gebeurt dit regelmatig en tegenwoordig ook steeds vaker, maar helaas zien we ook meer dan eens per seizoen de zogenaamde treintjes: coureurs die allemaal binnen DRS-afstand van elkaar zitten, maar geen inhaalactie op de baan weten in te zetten. Dit komt met name doordat een coureur flink wat downforce verliest als hij dicht achter zijn voorganger rijdt. Ook de banden gaan er op dat moment sneller aan, waardoor hij grip verliest.
