Inheritance

from Inheritance · host Christopher Paolini

Deep and incurable, therefore, was the wound inflicted on all its members by the marriage of the honorable Thomas St. Clair, the youngest son of the Earl of Rossville, with the humble Miss Sarah Black, a beautiful girl of obscure origin and no fortune." And so the stage is set for our plot, which focuses on the implications and complications of the return from France to Scotland of the Rossville widow and her daughter-heiress Gertrude, who must suffer the onslaught of relations and suitors as well as a mysterious, threatening stranger who plagues her mother. And while we suffer with Gertrude, who also may be in love with the wrong man, we enjoy a myriad of wonderful satiric portraits of the menagerie of minor characters in this lively story. (Summary by Jim Locke) Crowning Ignorant Kings John L. Donelson Crown Ignorant Kings — Reclaiming Truth, Authority, and the KingdomWhat if ignorance isn’t an insult—but a wake-up call?In this unapologetically bold podcast, we challenge the misunderstood meaning of “ignorance” and uncover how misinformation, withheld truth, and spiritual misdirection have robbed humanity of its divine inheritance. Here, truth isn’t just facts—it’s original, eternal knowledge that transcends the senses. We delve into the profound message that every human being was created as a king, not by gender, but by divine authority. Through powerful revelations, we explore why God came in human form: to restore what was lost, to reconnect us to the Kingdom, and to reclaim the crowns forfeited through disobedience. This isn’t your typical Gospel conversation. We go beyond “What Would Jesus Do” and ask the real question: What Did Jesus Say? Because the true Good News isn’t just about the cross—it’s about the crown beyond it. Join us Chant School Floriani Love Gregorian Chant but can't sing it? The Chant School podcast is designed to help you sing the ancient chants of the Church with ease. In the Chant School, you will learn the most ancient melodies and texts in the Christian tradition. St. Hugh of Cluny once spoke of how the learning, practicing, and singing of Gregorian chant is a sure way to grow in holiness, in closeness to the Word, and in submission to the discipline of singing God’s praises. Floriani has taken these words to heart, and it is our intent to inspire and educate the next generation of Catholic musicians in the spirit of this beautiful inheritance. We hope you enjoy learning how to sing Gregorian Chant -- the greatest artistic treasure of the Catholic Church!
