Injury Chronicles w Abdoulie Njai

Ab joins the Full 90' to speak about his injury journey! Only 4 games into the 22/23 season, AB broke his fibula during a challenge in a game. He was initially placed in a full leg cast, before being downgraded to a walking boot. After further examination, the results were slightly better than the first diagnosis, showing no ligament damage and a clean break. That put a 4-6 month recover window on the injury. AB talks about how he felt a little robbed of an important season, after being newly promoted to the 2nd tier in Denmark; this was his chance to move up. After the initial shock and denial, he adopted a fresh attitude that allowed him to attack his rehab. Eventually returning to the pitch just over 4 months after the initial injury.
