Inks & Issues #57 – Watchmen Part 1
from Inks & Issues
It's a new year and it's time to get super serious. No more of these “funny books”. It's all grimdark adult “Graphic Novels” from here on out. We ONLY talk about serious things, and make zero goofs by popular request of our listeners. Because this week we take on one of Time Magazine's 100 best novels, Watchmen. This episode was voted on by our lovely patrons. Superheroes are real, well one of them is. The rest are regular folks who dress up in costumes and bunch baddies. But now someone is killing off the former “masks” and the smelly vigilante Rorschach isn't going to take this lying down. It's a story of the escelation of the cold war, the uncertainty of the future, and a question of how far would you go to keep the world safe.
