Inland Sessions: Pamela Benton

from KSPS PBS Podcasts Hosted by KSPS - PBS

Classically-trained singer/songwriter Pamela Benton visits the studio to talk about being immersed in a world of music for as long as she can remember, starting with the violin when she was 7 years old and progressing to teaching herself guitar by the time she was in Jr. High her music is built around her electric violin and guitar in contemporary cross-genre arrangements. She also delivers a stripped down acoustic performance as she talks about how her shyness used to hold her back, but music and community gave her the breakthrough she needed to unleash herself when performing. Inland Sessions is a production of KSPS PBS in Spokane, Washington serving the Inland Northwest U.S. and Canada providing informative, entertaining, and uplifting programming from producers and storytellers from every corner of North America. KSPS-PBS is a 501(c)3 non-profit and has a hyper local production team focusing on creating enlightened programming around people, stories, events, and news happening across the heart of the Inland Northwest.
