Built as the first planned suburb for Atlanta’s white elite, it spurred the creation of Edgewood Avenue, the first electric streetcar and sadly, demolished worker housing to do so. It also gave us some of the most iconic homes in the city was a who's who of Atlanta’s businessmen and influential families.
