Erik began his Tarot journey over 25 years ago after wandering into a small metaphysical shop, supposedly by chance, but we know Tarot doesn't work that way. The owner and Erik quickly became good friends. Soon after Erik was introduced to, and encouraged to pursue, a higher understanding of the Art of Tarot by his new found friend and mentor. Studying and reading with the Rider/Waite/Smith, the Aquarian and the Medieval Scapini gave him an introduction to the mysteries and unveiled the inner light of Tarot. As an artist, Erik's own vision of Truth and Illumination were soon being super imposed over the trad. mages. Inevitably his passion for art and tarot merged and inspiration tackled him. He began his tarot creation with the Queen of Swords, trusting the Process he  allowed the Queen to lead. Eric has retraced the footsteps of legendary Kings and Queens, ridden camels across the dunes of Persia and galloped heavy steeds through fields of gold. His diverse life experiences are matched only by his opulent imagination, both of which are apparent in his artful creation of a cast of rich characters and fantastical realms. Although a classically trained artist under the tutelage of his parents, both skilled artisans in their own right, his choice of medium is digital, where he has allowed his passion for costume design and his roots in theater to lend their resounding voice to each and every card of the Tarot Illuminati.
