INNOCENCE (August 24)

Innocence - [in-uh-suhns] The state or quality of being innocent; freedom from sin, moral wrong, or guilt. Psalm 51:10–12 — [10] Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. [11] Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. [12] Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. Practice: Each day, take a few moments to confess your sins to God, asking for His forgiveness and a clean heart. This act of repentance can help cultivate a spirit of innocence and purity. Prayer: God, help me to pursue innocence and purity in my thoughts, words, and actions today.  In Jesus' name, amen.
