Innovate To Educate, Episode 19 - Redhouse: Raising the Bar for Arts Education

Arts Education is expected to be a major focus for Syracuse's new STEAM School, and Redhouse Arts Center is raising the bar for professional arts education in our region. At Redhouse, participants study with Broadway performers, professional directors, and leading arts educators from both our area and from New York City, to prepare themselves for a career in the arts industry. In this Innovate to Educate, host Jody Manning talks with Redhouse Director of Education Marguerite Mitchell and Redhouse Education Department Coordinator Ben Borenstein, about their programs. We also welcome to the show program veterans Emma Mollapour, a student at Manlius Pebble Hill School, and Mira Grimm, at student at Fowler High School, who share their experiences at Redhouse.
