Insatiable: The Lie of Striving; Astrology Update | Revealing the Mysteries with Isaac George

The consumer age has been the age of “it isn’t ever enough” and we are seemingly insatiable for one thing or another. Exhortations abound to adjust our mindset; “just push through it”, “hustle!”, “You got this!”, and others. The relentless messages to grow, achieve, progress or overcome are embedded into our minds via capitalism and even in some spiritual teachings. Slowing down and laziness is branded as sloth, and in our current reality we are under constant pressure to perform and achieve. Those who know this is an unhealthy way to live are going more and more off-grid, while those who are unaware are falling deeper into a game of running as fast as they can, and don’t have time to contemplate the meaning of their existence. I am not against work, or creativity, as we are all aspects of the Divine Dreamer who creates all things anew. Yet we seem to act without faith in that which can sustain us.
