If this decrease continues at this alarming rate, it can have serious implications for all life on Earth. An ecological Armageddon? Scientists are still unsure why exactly this is happening. I find this phenomenon fascinating and also quite disturbing, and this led me to making ‘INSEKTS’. The track ’INSEKTS’ is the first of its kind, being that it is the first music release ever that has been created using the ‘Syntablism’ technique. 'Syntablism' is the art of using a turntable to create and / or manipulate sound with a modular synthesizer. A blend of Modular Synthesis and Turntablism. Art by Joram van Loenen
