It was must see TV as President Biden held a wide open press conference that was broadcast live around the country. The aim? To allay concerns about his fitness to continue another four years in the White House. What was it like there? Steven Fabian spoke with one of the reporters called upon by the president. And the latest from the Alec Baldwin trial where the question is being asked - are witnesses being given secret signals while on the stand? That's the allegation from the actor's attorney, as the trial takes a break to give the judge a chance to rule on that as well as a defense allegation that critical evidence about ammunition on the set was withheld by prosecutors. Plus, last night, ESPN presented the ESPY Awards with Serena Williams as host. She delivered plenty of zingers and even took a shot at one of the high profile athletes in the audience. And chances are someone you know has gotten Covid lately. The CDC reports there's an increase in covid cases in 39 states, with a new variant nicknamed “Flirt” responsible for 2/3 of the cases. For some people it's not their first time. Ann Mercogliano spoke with one woman who has gotten Covid eight times.
