Inside Job

Real life and lasting transformation are found in Jesus Christ. As His followers we need to put off the old self and put on the new. This is accomplished by the work of the Holy Spirit in us. We need to think new thoughts and do new God-honoring actions, bearing fruit for His Kingdom. We can experience this transformation through the inward spiritual disciplines of prayer, fasting, and study of God's Word. Today we will look at how necessary and good these are for the followers of Jesus.
