INSIDE MAN

Aloon Nguyen is a courier from Bankstown NSW, whose life took a significant turn when he was charged with supplying a commercial quantity of methyl-amphetamine, serving 1.5 years in a correctional facility. In this episode, Aloon opens up about his early life experiences, the circumstances that led him down that path, and how his time in prison ultimately shaped who he is today. We dive into themes of accountability, growth, and mental health — exploring the challenges he faced, the lessons he’s learned, and the mindset shifts that have helped him move forward. As always, we finish with The Halfachickenlaksa Show’s signature reflective questions.
