Inside MBR - "The Underground Project"

Founder, director, and current rider of The Underground Project, Casey Hildebrandt, joins the show to discuss what the group is all about and what lies ahead for team.   Founded in 2015, The Underground Project is a development cycling team, based in Wisconsin, that aims to fill the void with development opportunities within the United States. Casey Hildebrandt launched The Underground Project to raise the bar of development cycling teams and support young cyclists who need it most. Due to a continual lack of support with off-road disciplines of cycling, specifically in the Midwest region, he finally formed the Underground Project after years of thought and preparation.     The formation of The Underground Project stems from combined, interacting passions of bicycles and working with children and adolescents. Hildebrandt strives not only to raise the bar for developmental cycling teams, but to give back to the community by providing opportunities for youth to succeed, both, on and off the bike.
