Inside Minneapolis Public Schools' budgeting errors

Minneapolis Public Schools says a budgeting error that stretches back to 2022 led to tens of millions of dollars in lost revenue and staffing cuts. Now that the budget error has been caught, it means that the district’s $50 million deficit is now shrinking to about $38 million.
