Inside Out

Audrey takes Kari on a semi forced journey as she starts her 4 part podcast series exploring modern animation -The Fall of Cinema; The Rise of GRU- and many many things that come with that (banana). She hopes to figure out why film is failing and if Gru’s little helpers can help save cinema! This episode is all about Pete Doctor’s “Inside Out.” The whimsical yet devastating combo is a trademark of the heavy hitter, industry domineer Pixar Animation Studios. It’s upbeat, it’s fun, it has comedians as voice actors and it will make you process childhood trauma in real time. Let’s be honest, as much as we love to hate Pixar, they make a decent fucking flick! Stay tuned to continue learning about the current state of cinema through the lens of children’s animated movies!
