Dr. Ramya Ranganathan, a distinguished professional with a rich and diverse academic and professional background, and an adjunct faculty member at IIM Bangalore, shares profound insights from her widely acclaimed book, “Career Alchemy: An Inside-Out Approach to Joy, Success, and Fulfillment through Work.” In this inspiring work, Dr. Ranganathan explores how individuals can align their inner aspirations with their professional journeys to create a life of meaning, joy, and purpose through work. Dr. Ramya holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras, an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, and a PhD in Organizational Behavior from London Business School. Dr. Ranganathan's career spans leading organizations such as ICICI, Infosys, and Citibank, where her experiences in the corporate world fueled her passion to explore how individuals and organizations can thrive more effectively. She served as a full-time faculty member at IIM Bangalore, where she developed a unique approach to fostering well-being in both individuals and organizations. In recognition of her innovative contributions to higher education, she was awarded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) as one of India’s top 15 innovators in higher education. Currently, Dr. Ranganathan continues to teach as an adjunct faculty member at IIM Bangalore while also offering independent programs tailored for organizations and individuals. Over the past decade, Dr. Ranganathan has designed customized workshops for clients across sectors, including GE Aviation, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Infosys, J P Morgan, and ISRO. She also runs her flagship program, Leading with Joy, attracting participants from corporate, education, government, and social sectors. Certified in multiple coaching and therapeutic modalities, she integrates these techniques into her work, offering personalized meditations to help clients overcome limiting beliefs.
