In recent episodes, we've been getting reaction to the recently-passed state budget from various segments of business and industry. This time, we get reaction from the ag community. Our guest is Kim Skellie from El-Vi Farms in Newark. EL-VI Farms is a multi-family partnership that milks about 2000 cows and grows feed for the animals on about 3300 acres of land. They employ just under 50 team members. They take pride in caring for our people, animals, and land in a sustainable way. We got Kim's take on the ag components of the budget and talked about the challenges and rewards of dairy farming.
