Inside the Mind of a Man (What We’re Not Taught to See) with Jeddy Azuma

from Sex, Love & Money with Rebecca Antonucci · host Rebecca Antonucci

You’ve done the work. You’re ready for love. But why does it feel like you’re doing all the emotional lifting? What is going on inside the minds, and hearts of the men in our lives? Today I’m sitting down with Jeddy Azuma, a men’s coach, a rite of passage facilitator, and the husband of my nervous system mentor, Kari Azuma. Jeddy works with men to help them become leaders in their own lives, but what I love most is how grounded, open and emotionally intelligent Jeddy is. This episode isn’t about pitying men, or fixing them. It’s about understanding them so that we can stop projecting, blaming and emasculating, and start to shift how we are relating to the men in our lives. We talk about:  What emotional safety actually looks like for men (and why it’s different to what we’re taught) Why a man’s silence isn’t always what you think it is PLUS how to stop making it mean something about you The subtle ways we’re disempowering our men even when we think we’re helping The difference between inviting a man into his potential and dragging him there What to do when you’ve your work… but your partner isn’t there yet …and so much more. Don’t miss next week’s episode because this time I’m chatting with Kari Azuma.  Prefer YouTube? Watch here. Want more of Jeddy? Follow him on IG @jeddyazuma or learn more about The Rising Man Movement at www.risingman.org or on IG @risingmanmovement. In 2017, I walked into the Bridge Experience and my whole life changed.
