Eugenia Cheng was tenured in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom, and is the Scientist in Residence at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Since 2007, her YouTube videos explaining mathematical concepts have been viewed more than 8 million times.Dr. Cheng is a trained concert pianist and trilingual in French, English and Mandarin. She is the author of How to Bake Pi: An Edible Exploration of the Mathematics of Mathematics.
