Inside the Mind of Bill Walton

On Memorial Day the world lost one of the gems of the sports world –– the one and only Bill Walton. He was a two-time NBA champion and won two NCAA titles as a young man at UCLA. But his reputation as the most cheerful, colorful, and contemplative personality in sports, especially in his many decades as a broadcaster, has extended his legacy beyond the generations who first watched him on the court.  In tribute to Walton, today we revisit our January 2021 conversation with the man himself, and revel in the joy he brought into our lives.
