Inside the Perkins Brailler: History, Repair, and Remarkable Design

This week, Evan welcomes Aftersight volunteer and Perkins Brailler repair Ralph for a journey through the machine’s history, design, and maintenance. Before the Perkins Brailler, people primarily wrote braille using a slate and stylus or one of several early mechanical braille writers.
