Nathan Phares, Operations Analyst and Minor League Coordinator with Sports Info Solutions, joined us to discuss the Winter Meetings, the Phillies farm system and what positions the Phillies will need to target in the upcoming 2020 draft. It's a great interview you won't want to miss! But first, we discussed some of the struggles Joel Embiid has been facing this season, specifically with his post game. (approx. 4:10)From there, we dove into some Flyers talk. Our thoughts on Joel Farabee's suspension and Oskar Lindblom's cancer diagnosis. (approx. 11:50)We then got into some Eagles talk as this week's game against the Cowboys will help determine their fate in the NFC East. (approx. 29:50)Then on our Lowbrow Segment, we introduced a new bit called "Believe it or not". It's was a fun discussion about sports, music and some personal stories. (approx. 40:30)What we're throwing down on the Table this week is an in-depth interview with Nate Phares of Sports Info Solutions as we dove deep into the Phillies minor league system. First, Nate talked about his time out in San Diego at the Winter Meetings. Then we shifted the discussion to Alec Bohm, his development and what we can expect from him this coming baseball season. From there, we discussed Austin Listi's talent. How much of the Phillies farm system woes do we see from poor drafting and poor development over the years? What should be Mickey Moniak's expectations for this season? All of this and much more this week on the Table! (approx. 55:45)
