Inside the SCCA: Club Culture with Heyward Wagner and Duck Allen Tribute

On episode 2 of "Inside the SCCA" I talk with Heyward Wagner -- he's the Senior Director of Rally, Solo and Experiential Programs for SCCA.  From this position, he works with the teams that deploy Track Night in America, the Time Trials National Tour and the National Solo Series and the staff that provides support for the Regional Solo, Track Events, Time Trials, Rally, RallyCross and Hillclimb programs. That's the title but Heyward has been a part of the club for decades. He and I have known each other since we played with cars at Road Atlanta in the 1990's. We talk about "club culture" and the challenges that come with being so many things to so many car crazy people.  I also remember Howard "Duck" Allen -- another pillar of the club who has taken his final checkered flag. I share some of my memories about the guy we all knew as "Duck".
