Insights About Depression

from Existential Cloud Hopping · host John M. Castillo

Hello. I am dedicating this episode to Cheslie Kryst, an American woman who suffered from depression. I am not remembering her as an attorney nor as the winner of Miss America 2019 because she was a human being like you and I and she deserves to be seen and remembered as more than titles she held and accomplishments she had. In this episode I talk a lot about mental illness and depression. I discuss the experience of depression and how it's hard to talk about and easy to be in denial in, and ways to help someone who may be suffering from it despite it's elusiveness when it consumes people who have it and can still function in their day to day lives. I hope you're doing well or getting there.
