She is presently practicing in various Courts and Tribunals in Pune with special emphasis on education matters. She completed LL.B. from Symbiosis Law College, Pune, and then her LL.M. from National Law School, Bengaluru. She was conferred the Surana & Surana National award for excellence and best student advocate award. She has worked with Law Firms and Advocates in the Bombay High Courts and the Supreme Court. She has researched on several legal topics and published articles. Apart from her practice, she also espoused the cause of legal education and was a regular visiting faculty at multiple colleges including DES Law College, Marathwada MM Law College and Bhartiya Vidyapeeth Law College. She still visits law colleges as a guest lecturer sometimes and has also been invited as a Judge at several local, national and international level moot court and client counselling competitions. She is also a mother of two. In this episode we go down the memory lane as we trace her academic and professional journey and find out what were experiences of studying at elite institutions and bringing that culture to the places where she was teaching. I’ll pick her brains about how to maximise the chances of success in colleges and about different work cultures and the importance of having a work life balance.
