Good morning. Today is Tuesday. Chris' podcast episode is an article that was published in one of the publications that I created, Explode Your Magnificent Self. And the title of the article is, Insights from these five simple, easy-to-grasp books will blow your mind.
The subject is read and practice, at least one tip or insight. Number one, money is my friend and I feel not. This book helped me change my relationship with money and create a new mindset. I learned and practiced affirmations on birth, relationships, aliveness, creative self-image, suppressed hostility, and general aliveness enrichment.
Phil teaches us to see affirmations in the first, second, and third person to make it easier to discover and change the negative responses, no matter where they come from, whether you card them up yourself, whether someone else told you, or whether someone else said them to you. Here is an example. I like myself. That's the first.
So I like myself. Lolita, you like yourself. Lolita likes herself. Practicing affirmations in the first, second, and third person way helped me transition from employee to self-employee, or self-employment very smoothly, confidently and graciously.
The second book, You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay. This book served as an eye-opener to love me unconditionally a concept I was not aware of before reading this book. Louise also uses affirmation backed with examples of her own and her client's stories. Reading and practicing the tips from this book helped me have a healthy relationship with my mind, body, and spirit.
At the end of the book, for each ailment, she has provided probable cause and new thought pattern. I found tremendous value and use it to my advantage for blood pressure, cholesterol, osteoporosis, and even simple cold. Here is an example. Problem, high blood pressure, problem, cause.
Well, this is not clinical, medical, clinical. This is something based upon Louise's experience, personal experience, clients experience, and research done from the books and knowledge from the other authors in various fields of psychology in various ways. Psychology, psychotherapy, psychiatric, everything, and also other areas. So here is a new thought pattern that is suggested in the book.
Thought, which will create a pattern for you. The thought is, so let's come back to that. The problem, high blood pressure, problem, cause, long-standing emotional problem, not solved. New thought pattern, I joyously released the past, I'm a piece.
Nerita, you joyously released the past, you are a piece. I take my medications regularly and say the following affirmation. I joyously, I'm joyously releasing the past, I'm a piece. Nerita, you are joyously releasing the past, you're a piece.
Nerita is joyously releasing the past, she's a piece. How does it help? How does it help? Subconsciously, I've created a new thought pattern that helps me stop complaining or brooding over the past and live in the present moment peacefully.
The third book, Meditations to Heal Your Life by Louisa. I invite you to read the following articles, where I have described how I use each page of this book. To quote a few, in the following articles, I have written about old tapes, healing, prejudice, and self-talk. Old tapes.
I have written an article, please check it out, you can google. The title is, I thought this was a better way to handle criticism. Then, the affirmation about the word healing, which is given in this book, I have written an article titled, When I use this technique, I heal and help heal the sick. The third one title is prejudice.
And the title of the book is, I use this one powerful tool when I catch myself judging. Self-talk, the title of my article is, How would you respond when I ask, how is your self-talk? You may think, oh, do I have to read them? You don't have to.
You don't have to. But when you do read them, you will realize how Louisa has brilliantly helped her readers meditate and create new thought patterns to live a meaningful and fulfilled life. The next book, Unstoppable by Cynthia Cursey. This book has 45 powerful stories of perseverance and triumphs, from people just like you and me.
These stories are grouped into seven characteristics. Here are the few. Here are the few. Purpose ignites the spirit.
Preparation builds the foundation and teams strengthen the cause. Whenever I get stuck in a situation, I choose the relevant characteristic and read the story to get inspired and use the strategies mentioned therein. This is yet another book that helped me overcome the shame and guilt associated with leaving a high paying, in-demand corporate job to venture into unknown territory of self-agplanit. The next book, How to Get What You Want and Want What You Have by John Gray.
I love this book because it combines insights from Western philosophy and Eastern meditations. John has simplified conveying his message in four easy to follow steps. Set your intention, get what you need, get what you want, and remove the blocks to personal success. I've highlighted several paragraphs that touch my sound and come back to read them again and again and again.
Chapter 5, The Ten Love Tanks, is the best and my favorite. I'm participating in the following challenge started by Anne Wengertrauman, April 2023 writing challenge. Please join and, yet another quote, Arta de la Coutres, I never knew whom I was writing for until I wrote this piece. Again, the last one is my blurb.
