It was a privilege to engage in a conversation with Porscia about her Chapter, Insights into Raising a Child with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA). Although we do not follow this approach as a whole in our family (but do apply low-demand to some specific tasks that are very difficult e.g., eating) I find her observations and explanations of PDA behaviours to be extremely helpful. She also now works with large numbers of PDA children which places her in a good position to make general observations.
