About the Guest: Kiran Pedada is an accomplished Assistant Professor of Marketing and F. Ross Johnson Fellow at the Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba. With a notable academic journey, Kiran previously served as an Assistant Professor of Marketing and BAT Research Fellow at the Indian School of Business (ISB). In Fall 2018, he was a Visiting Scholar in Marketing at the Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. Kiran also contributed as a faculty member for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women Ambassadors Program. At ISB, Kiran's dedication to teaching earned him the "Teacher of the Year" award for two consecutive years, 2020 and 2021. He was also recognized by BusinessBecause as one of the "MBA Professors to Look Out For" in 2020. Kiran’s research expertise lies in Marketing Strategy, with a keen focus on the financial and social impacts of marketing, marketing organization, strategies for digital environments, and emerging markets. His work is highly regarded, with publications in top-tier academic journals such as the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and the International Journal of Research in Marketing, as well as practitioner journals like California Management Review and Management and Business Review. His insights have been featured in major media outlets including Forbes, Fortune, and CNN. Additionally, Kiran has co-authored numerous cases on marketing and digital transformation available through Harvard Business Publishing. He serves on the Editorial Review Boards of the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and the Journal of Business Research, and is a member of the Management and Productivity Committee of the Bureau of Indian Standards, The National Standards Body of India.
