Today I want to share with you a main reason why, if your home is a little bit older, why you might want to consider having a home inspection before you put your home on the market. The reason why homes fall out of contract, one of the primary reasons, is due to a repair dispute during the due diligence period between buyer and seller. The seller says, Hey, I'm not going to pay for this, and oftentimes it comes as a whoopsie that that seller didn't really realize that this was a pretty serious health or safety matter that needs to be addressed. So my suggestion today, my tip of the day, is I would suggest you Inspect Before Listing if your home's a little bit older just so that there are no surprises once you go under contract.
