People can be challenging to work with sometimes and they can be a great delight as well. As a leader, you are tasked to deliver results, grow the business, achieve strategic objectives, coach, mentor, inspire your team or direct reports. These demands put pressure on you as a leader and you must keep refueling your mental tank, refresh, re-energize and rejuvenate consistency to handle the challenges and requirements of the job. I salute all the leaders out there because leadership is a heavy and challenging responsibility. Organizations thrive or fail through leadership. Employees reach the pinnacle of success and advancement through the leaders who support them. The word to inspire is to spur, stimulate, motivate, encourage, or stimulus. We all need inspiration to progress our leadership journey. The work of leadership has many challenges. If you are working with people and on projects and programs, there will always be challenges along the way. As a leader, you need to inspire yourself daily to be able to handle the challenges that come with the job of leading. I was talking to one of my relatives who has just been promoted to a leadership position. We were talking about the good, the bad and the positives and negatives.
